NOVACAINE

Novacaine is anesthetic from the cocaine family (N17 H21 NO4). It goes to the neurotransmitters of the body and blocks the synapses between nerve endings that makes it impossible for the pain signal to be transported via the nerve. This does wear off but when these anesthetic are abused it does damage the nerve endings and creates an imbalance that is only pseudo-corrected by more usage. That is when it crossed the line to addiction. The false feelings of Euphoria are just the psychological manifestations of a lack of pain. Novacaine usually used by your dentist to numb your gums, and because it's a local injection rather than a systematic introduction, it's harmless.
